Our comments come in through Facebook, so sign into your account, then jump in with a response as appropriate. Or add another piece of information you found out after the story, or even something while you were reporting it that just didn’t make it into the story.

Getting into the conversation on your story helps readers feel like someone’s paying attention — and cares what they have to say about a story. It’s not going to work every time with every story, but sometimes adding just a little bit of interaction reminds readers you’re not just bylines atop a story; you’re people, too.
